best weekend ever.

This past weekend was so much fun. Let me tell you all about it.

Friday morning started with time with the Lord at Panera before my work meeting. I was sitting by the window and a lady asked me if Lance Armstrong was sitting outside. She googled his picture to show me for comparison. Totally wasn’t him, but she was convinced.

I drove to NKY on Friday afternoon. I grabbed a book and headed to my favorite place, Reality Tuesdays. I sat outside in the shade and read until my sweet friend Shannon arrived. I had some pretty great awkward  interactions while waiting, but we won’t get into that.

Shannon and I headed to the Levee to see Glee in 3D. It was great.

Saturday I woke up early to grab some chai and some coffee for Scott, and headed to meet him in Cinci to drive to Kelsey’s wedding in Columbus. A car FULL of Batesville girls followed us up. It was fun. We listened to Mat Kearney’s new CD the entire time. Still isn’t old.

We arrived at the hotel where I got to take pictures of Kelsey getting ready. She had photographers, so it was kind of croweded. I left after a bit and went to check in to the hotel I’d be staying at with the girls that night. Some good people watching there..I won’t get into it:)

We headed to the church after this and waited on the bridal party to arrive! It was pretty outside and I just sat outside with Scott & Steacy (a Batesville YL girl). Steacy and I were the unofficial photographers for the day. The girls got there, so we took pictures of the getting ready process at the church. Kelsey was gorgeous. After they were all ready, Scott took me to Chipotle. We walked down the street with my gps on pedestrian mode. Awesome, I know.

I ate a giant burrito, and Scott got a bowl in honor of the bride and groom (last name Bohl)

The reception was so beautiful and fun. Such fun dancing (yes, shout). They had a photo booth too, it was great. Scott and I got to dance a lot, and he was a pretty crazy dancer. He informed me later it only happens about once a year. I’m glad I got to experience it.

After a lot of dancing (I have sore legs today), and cake, and photos, we headed out. I went back to the hotel with the girls and we crashed.

I had to go out to get my phone from my car that night… oh gosh. I was in an elevator with a really creepy man that kept talking to me. Good story, but I’ll pass on that for now…

Sunday was awesome.

I woke up and headed to Brookville to meet Scott at his brothers. We went to get coffee with his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, then headed to his parents house.

Then. We went to the fair. I’ve never been to a county fair. It was crazy. We saw everything from camels to lettuce that was being judged, to tombstone sellers, to rides, to hot tub vendors. We ate a lot of good food and I met my new favorite animal.

Baby pig. I mean, the size of my hand. They were small and fuzzy and black and had little snouts that they rubbed against my hand. So. Cute. I kept asking to go back. He kept telling me they were dead.

I wish I had my camera with me. You would have died. They were so small and cute.

Anyway, we bought more popcorn than you can imagine and headed out.

Next stop? The park. There is a fun cable bridge, some benches and peacocks. It was fun to just sit.

After all this we finally headed back to Cinci where we parted ways and I drove back incredibly tired. We did get to listen to a sermon from Dayton to Cinci that was awesome and convicting. I will write about it one day on here.

Well, thats about all I have. I’m impressed if you made it all the way through this. I was hoping the pictures would break it up so it wouldn’t seem so long:)
